An assortment of work created for the Character Development class at the Academy of Art. February 2010. All of these pieces are hand-drawn with pencil on traditional animation paper. For this class, we had to develop a single character and do several animation exercises/scenes with the same character. Breakdown follows:
- character turnaround
- walk cycle
- mailing a letter
- sitting at the bar – we were given the background and bartender animation to practice integrating our animation in a production
- dialogue – sound from Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune PS3 video game
